Introduction

Overview

We assume that the reader of this manual has a basic knowledge in the field of digital test and design. The document provides for a reference of the Turbo Tester tools. Theoretical aspects are covered only for the features that are specific to our system.

Turbo Tester can be used in commercial purposes. However, it is mainly oriented to diagnostics research and education.

Conventions

The document is organized as follows. Features section gives the overview of Turbo Tester system. Getting Started section provides an installation guide and explanation on how to use Turbo Tester. In Troubleshooting section gives some ways to identify the causes of possible failures and explanation how to avoid them. Finally, Appendixies section describes command-line options of Turbo Tester tools and GUI shell commands, plus the information about file formats and how to link the system with other CAD tools.

Throughout this document, following conventions are used:
monospace Indicates strings entered at the command prompt or displayed by the system. Also file names.
italics Indicates variables, e.g. numeric parameters, working directories, design names.
<chevrons> Same as previous.
[square brackets] Denotes optional constructs.
Emphasizes important notes and warnings.
Emphasizes informative notes.
